Fall is here and the leaves are beginning to turn, with trees taking on golden, amber and scarlet hues making a phenomenal spectrum of colors. For many, fall is their most favorite season for its cooler weather and the guarantee of a vivid show from nature. Do you love fall foliage as much as I do? What about Christmas lights? Now you can bring fall’s vibrant colors and twinkly Christmas lights indoors with this easy DIY Fall Leaf Garland with Christmas Lights! Best of all, you can use them from early fall all the way through Thanksgiving. All it takes is a string of Christmas lights, a collection of beautiful fall leaves, waxed paper and some Uhu glue…

To bring a warm autumn glow indoors…

YOU WILL NEED…

  • Fall leaves
  • Wax paper
  • Iron
  • Uhu glue
  • String Christmas lights

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Sandwiching each fall leaf between two sheets of wax paper and ironing for a few seconds until the leaves have been sufficiently coated.
  2. Use the Uhu glue to attach the leaves in front of each Christmas light bulb.
  3. Hang on your bannister, inside your window, in front of your mirror or display in a clear vase!
